Haiku: Pretend

I put my mascara
Pretend
Another day.

Sun rise

 

Hues of light

opportunities fill the sky

I spread my wings

to touch the heights

Presence

And there you stand

In the middle of baffling crowd

Unkempt yet divine

A halo, bright behind

Distinguishing through the waddled side

Pronounced and delighted

Reaching towards your hand

Extended as a shield

Against the torment of time

I see nothing

But the rise

A sunny side

at its prime.

Beauty Undefined

Panic state of mind,
The pacing heart
Dilated pupils
Gushing blood
Heated ears
Is what exactly defines
the view of your beauty.

I stand still
Watching as if stiff
Waiting for the moment to stay
As in to imbibe in surrounding
Your beauty is what
makes me wonder.

I wonder
Should I move further
Or hop backwards
The patience blush
The palm sweat
The feet shrivel
Before I could settle
You just passed by.

Priorities

Need to be rescued
From a cold heart
Far away
With some warmth.

A rocking chair
To introspect within
Courage to loose
To gain within.

I ponder
Looking towards the walls
In empty space
I look for solution.

Right or wrong
I have done before
This time
I am not sure.

Bear pain
Or take chance
Its all I have to do
Deciding my priorities.

Strength of character

Dreams turn into nightmare,

within a eye flutter

I convince myself

reality is better.

Time awaits to see my strength,

hope, faith and trust.

I will stand tall,

against each volatile sputter.

Flustering ad-mist strong winds 

carrying the flag.

I will ascertain,

shades of my character.

Short poem

Hungry eyes

looks so plaint

thousand cries

tainted brain.
